The Ultimate Thinking & Planning Setup | Obsidian and Amplenote’s Calendar
The new generation note apps like Roam, Obsidian and Logseq are gaining popularity because they work more like our brain compared to traditional note apps like Evernote and OneNote.
These apps are great for thinking, but not so much for planning. Many people try to use them as their planners or task managers but struggle to build a good system inside them. I was one of them — I tried to use Logseq and Obsidian for task management, but it wasn’t as good as I needed it to be.
So if you’re like me having the same issue, you might find this helpful. I’m going to introduce a setup I found useful for both thinking and planning.
Introduction
I’ve been using Logseq and Obsidian for about a year for studying and writing. Ideally, I’d like to use just one tool for everything, so I tried to use Logseq as my task manager. But it didn’t go well. The problem I had was that it took a while to navigate to the task page on mobile. For me, being able to see my task list quickly on my phone is essential.
